Housing estate designed in the post-industrial area of the former Fadroma factory in Wrocław.

The main objective of the project was to create a man-friendly space with the right proportions and a hierarchy in line with the natural needs of man. Division of long frontages into narrow sections mimics the traditional tenement house, characteristic of the historical urban fabric.

The greenery, as an architectural element, was consciously used. The interiors of the quarters divided into four separate zones, addressed to different recipients. The groups of tall trees create additional plans and allow to shorten too long perspective of the courtyard, giving it a human scale. Ruder plant species are ideal for revitalizing post-industrial areas and do not require expensive care treatments.

The yards, located in the ground floors, despite placing them at the ground level keep their intimacy thanks to replacing traditional isolations with slopes planted with greenery.
